Don't buy a replacement hose! I have read many reviews from people that the hose that comes with the shower head is too stiff and should be replaced immediately. While the hose is indeed very stiff initially, it loses a lot of its stiffness after a few uses. Everything about it is great! I recently had surgery on my leg and use a shower chair and this shower head makes showering so much easier. I particularly like the on/off function.

I really wanted to like this shower head. Installation was easy and there were absolutely no leaks (with tape). But what I can't deal with is that the hose isn't as flexible as they claim. It sticks right in the shower and I couldn't get it off no matter how hard I tried. The shower head itself was great but the hose needs some work. Maybe I just have a defect but I will go back and buy another 2.0 GPM Niagara instead (highly recommend!)

I read a review that mentioned how inflexible the hose was, I had to take that into account. The hose is terrible. It is so rigid that it never relaxes. He kind of hangs there and mocks me. I tried hot water, no I tried to bend it, no fun. I ended up taking the hose off my old Waterpik shower head and using it. At least flexible. If it was profitable to send it back I would do it. When I first tried this I was disappointed that the water came out. At the end of the handle is a regulator that controls the water supply. I didn't remove the whole regulator. I just took off the little rubber o-ring that was right there and was very easy to pull out. (I've attached a picture of the O-ring).
