This is a cheap device that gets the job done. Without doubt. But here's the reason for the bad rating: The shower head broke after a few months of use. The broken part is the O-shaped piece of cheap plastic that attaches the shower head to the shower pipe (for lack of a better technical term). It's cheap plastic. Looking closely at the broken part, it's not a bad design, but it seems like the plastic itself is probably of poor quality since it's made of plastic that won't stand up to normal wear and tear. Honestly, I couldn't recommend this product when such an important part is made of a material that doesn't have enough strength to do its job. I hope replacing it with another brand will extend the life of this product. But in the meantime I will add my disapproval to this product so that people who intend to use it for a few months don't encounter the same problem. Showerheads should last for many years, right?
