The case looks good on the iPod touch and fits well. The plastic is very hard and seems to protect the device well. It also offers decent access to everything, although I'm not sure how it will work with a docking system. However, there are some serious disadvantages here. Although it appears to fit quite snugly around the iPod, it still allows lint and other debris that one would expect in a bag to get between the case and the iPod. Because it's a crystal clear case, you really notice when it accumulates. The problem is compounded by the fact that once installed, the case is very difficult to remove. I have yet to remove it myself, and I'm concerned I'll never be able to remove it without damaging the case, or worse, the iPod touch itself! I tried connecting and disconnecting two segments before installation. on an iPod due to a similar issue I had with another hard case in the past. Looks good, but once it's on the iPod, the two halves just don't separate! I have a query for iLuv customer service and will update this review if there is an easy fix that isn't obvious. For now though, I'd recommend staying away from it unless you decide you'll never need to remove your iPod touch case! (By the way, the screen protector was awful. Yes, I removed the actual screen protector before trying to install it). Edit: The company was pretty quick to respond but couldn't provide any useful advice on how to remove the case. I had to (very carefully) cut off part of the case to get the bottom off. I had to pry off the large top half, and I was very fortunate to avoid this incident without damaging or scratching the iPod Touch. along the edges to prevent lint and other bag debris from getting under the skin. Being transparent, it becomes very visible in a short amount of time, ruining any case-based appeal. Steer clear of this case and consider a one-piece TPU case instead. Just check out the reviews for the custom-fit case. (TPU cases are semi-flexible, so removing the case for cleaning is much easier than those two pieces with a locking design).
