Review on Efficient Touch Screen Coffee Maker: GASTRORAG 10 Cup, Programmable, Stainless Steel & Glass Carafe, Black by Eric Render

Loved it, but changed it now.

Works like a charm. The lid opens well enough to pour water. The keys are very sensitive to touch. It's pretty weird these days to only have a 24-hour clock. The carafe is easy to pour out and so far my coffee grounds have not run out of the filter. For the price this is unbeatable. After 10 days my opinion has changed. Of course, despite the understated design, I recognized the cheap quality of the materials used. Someone noticed that the top wouldn't shut off cleanly and now I'm having the same problem. You want the heat to heat up the thin sheet of plastic, causing it to warp and no longer want to lie flat. And after resetting the time 3-4 times, I started to understand that it wasn't me doing it wrong, it was the watch itself. Imagine someone after having had LCD watches for the last 20+ years , makes chips that just don't tell the right time. It's bad enough that it's only a 24 hour clock, but it's also a bad clock! He loses over 2 minutes a day so I'll just put black tape over the time to just ignore him. If you don't mind, buy it. It makes coffee - quickly, easily and cleanly - and is easily overlooked if simply slid out of sight when not in use. When this one wears out I will buy something else again and hopefully choose the best. Maybe if you wait a year or two, the price of this POS will drop so low that it's a real bargain. PS (06/01/21) The stupid clock chip at this POS has actually been showing the correct time for 5 days. I couldn't believe it. Each day I cooked my morning portion and saw that the time matched the time on my microwave and was a bit surprised. But then it got back into shape and now it keeps the same old wrong time as when it was new. Find out.
