I don't understand these 5 star reviews. I've tried them (all five) with a Mac Mini USB 3 M1 connector and gotten a bunch of weird problems with each one. I tried using them in both USB 3 ports and a Thunderbolt 4 to USB 3 docking station. They all gave the same results. They weren't thrown away when asked or just disappeared from the desktop. I formatted them in different ways (FAT, Journaled, APSF, etc.) and it didn't matter. The fastest write speed I got was 2.3MB and the highest read speed was 4.7MB. My old USB 2.0 hard drives are about 35 MB. When they were extracted with the software, Disk Utility couldn't see them anymore, so they couldn't be mounted again. Often, but not always, Disk Utility was unable to eject the drive so it could be erased. I finally just gave up. I will return them and order another brand. (My SanDisks work fine.)
