Honda Accord 1999 LX 2.3L VTech I have cleaned my intake assembly and it has caused bumps at idle from time to time so I bought this fake to use the original IACV as a gasket to replace appeared to have been accidentally contaminated with carburetor cleaner. After I replaced my IACV the problem didn't go away so I disassembled all the other parts, throttle body, throttle body assembly, vacuum lines, replaced coolant, rotor head, gaskets, gaskets, I went to scheduled maintenance just to make sure nothing else was causing this popping and hesitation idle. After going through the entire checklist and spending a month of my life resetting and fixing all of these nonexistent issues with working parts, I'm back to zero. This is a cheap fake IACV. So I cleaned and reinstalled my old OEM. No more check engine light, no more voltage spikes, no more hesitation, no more vibration. Problem solved. $25 and a month later, not thanks to that detail. This cheap part will generally work "somehow", but it will not perform like the original part. Choose an original if you can and see if your original just needs cleaning, maybe it's just a gasket leak. I've spent many hours of my life apparently trying to get a broken part to work.
