My drain plug is leaking because the store must have used a percussion gun. The next time I needed an oil change I had to use the breaker and I still barely blew it off. The shop wanted to pay for my sump replacement but then refused when they got the offers. Then they said they wouldn't do it because I wasn't a regular customer so they couldn't do it. In front of them it never leaked and never tightened as tight as they did. now i'm screwed. I was told to buy one of these. and i bought two. because one got lost in shipping and then turned up very late. When the second one arrived I tried to use it. I couldn't even get it to start in threads. Now after reading some of the more recent reviews I realize I probably shouldn't have tried them. I'm not sure what else to do. I can't afford the very high cost of replacing an oil pan and have tried "everything" to stop the leak but nothing has worked. And I can't even get that thing out to try.
