Nylon washer, poor quality

Nylon washer, no rubber. Started leaking because I couldn't tighten the screw enough to get a good seal. I almost snapped the bolt trying to tighten it enough so it wouldn't leak. Buying a second one and using the rubber washer from the previous drain plug would be great. The threads of the oversized screw are easily strayed during the threading process. The shop wanted to pay for my sump replacement but then refused when they got the offers. Then they said they wouldn't do it because I wasn't a regular customer so they couldn't do it. In front of them it never leaked and never tightened as tight as they did. now i'm screwed. I was told to buy one of these. and i bought two…
