Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 285/60 R18 120T winter by Ada Kiepura ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

Car - Chevrolet TrailBlazer. All-wheel drive mode - AUTO (connection of the front axle when the rear axle slips). Rubber 2022 release in the amount of 245 / 65R17 was purchased and installed in late autumn 2022. The first 200 kilometers, as expected, carefully, without impudence. Further - mileage for two winters - about 40 thousand km. of which 60% - the city, 40% - the highway. During the first winter, there were no studs left on the rear wheels at all, the tread was worn out by about 40%, more than half of the studs and 20-30% of the tread disappeared on the front wheels. For the second winter, the front wheels changed places with the rear ones and, accordingly, the car stopped braking completely on surfaces other than pure asphalt. At the end of the second winter and 40 thousand mileage, the wheels went into the trash. The overall rating is "2" only because there are probably worse tires, but I, fortunately, did not drive them. In fairness, there are no complaints about the summer Proxes T1 Sport (why I also bought Toyo for the winter) - great tires!

Pros
  • While it was new - handling without any remarks
Cons
  • During the first winter I lost about 80% of the spikes
