First of all I want to clarify that the product information says this mug is not dishwasher safe. You mean business. I've never seen that as a more accurate description of drinking paraphernalia. So I bought this and gave it to my dad for Father's Day and told him it can't be washed in the dishwasher. And I told my mom it can't be washed in the dishwasher. But someone forgot, and she washed herself in the dishwasher once, and the picture, which was just packaging on the outside, was completely crumpled. So now it's a regular black mug. The idea of this mug is cool, but you have to remember that you should never wash it in the dishwasher. If this is your office mug that you wash yourself and never have to worry about someone doing the dishes for you and possibly forgetting, then this is for you. It's hard to want to give this to someone when you have so many conditions to keep the gift.
