Review on πŸ‘¨ Soundance Aluminum Laptop Stand: Ergonomic Computer Riser for 10-15.6" Notebooks, Grey by Nick Morales

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Sturdy, beautiful and affordable laptop stand.

Let me start with this - I love it and I won't be returning it, but - well - $37 for molded plastic and some steel parts? ADVANTAGES: Very durable and attractive. Even the plastic parts are plated so everything looks the same. I wouldn't have known it had plastic parts unless I read other reviews. Elevates my Macbook to eye level. Full disclosure, I'm using 3 screens connected to an iPad on the left, a 27" monitor in the middle and my 13" Macbook on the right. I'm really happy with the height of this thing. This elevates my laptop to about the middle of my 27-inch monitor, so using my Magic Mouse between both displays is pretty fluid. CONS: $37? I don't really care because I use a magic keyboard and mouse, but you can't adjust the pitch or pitch on this thing. It's all one big piece. YMMV - but I can't imagine anyone actually using a laptop keyboard and this stand. She is MUCH tall. IMO - it's designed specifically for people who use their laptops as desktops. I don't feel that the seller clearly states this in the listing. GENERAL: I like it and it works for me and my setup. It's attractive. 37€ are overpriced. still use their laptop keyboard as their primary input interface. It's too big and would be awkward to type. IMO - this is for using "laptop as a desktop" with an external bluetooth keyboard and mouse.
