After reading the reviews of those who bought Win 10/8/7/Vista/XP and had to pay for full functionality, I ONLY bought Windows 10 - PLUG & PLAY. ONLY for Windows 10 - PLUG & PLAY really plug in, play and forget. I didn't have to do anything after plugging it in, and I wasn't prompted to purchase a version. Windows automatically detected it and automatically updated the drivers. I disabled my computer's built-in Bluetooth due to connectivity issues and this Bluetooth Avantree was a great replacement. I was able to seamlessly pair my new Bose SoundSport wireless headphones with the Satechi Bluetooth remote. This flash adapter is very responsive and latency is not an issue at all. Very happy with my purchase!
