Sensor ATP TE8 1999 Chrysler Town and Country

Easy installation method. I thought my 1999 Chrysler City and Country was tied to a junkyard. I felt like the gearbox fell out at the stop sign. It's like someone hit you at the bus stop. Not sure which one fixed it but I ordered both sensors and the transmission magnet box. Around 150.00 in total and installed in about an hour. The magnet block requires the removal of the air cleaner assembly and three screws. One for the harness and two for holding the backpack. Just clean the surface and install a new one. Very little sweat or transfluid loss. Shifting with two sensors is easier. unscrew and screw back on (mostly by hand) with a deep head. Be careful not to overtighten. bam! Box switches like new! And that within the last 3 or 4 months.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small house
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
