For reference I am using a Lenovo Ideapad S340 with this computer. I bought it because my neck hurts when I lean over my short table. Although it didn't completely solve the problem, it made my life so much better. The joints are really stiff and don't collapse under load. The connections are not fixed with screws, but simply levered together. Do not be fooled; It still takes quite a bit of effort to separate them and adjust the angles, meaning it's not very easy to move around once you've dialed in the angle you want. The ability to set the height you want is just stunning; You can move both joints to different positions to get very tall (about 8 inches tall) or as low as you like. It can almost serve as a separate bar table if you are small.
