Awesome Design: Power & Hand Tools

Very Good Clips. Easy to use, well designed and with good tolerances. I bought 2x 2 inch models. I found that one of the two clamps was a little harder to turn than the other. This was only due to a slight bend in the screw, but after lubricating the threads and pins it worked quite well. smoothly, and I'm sure it will turn even easier with use. They don't interfere with the vise position on the underside like the C-clamps do. They open just enough for me to clamp a 3/4" plywood into the jig's head to make transferring projects from the table to the vise easy and convenient. The jaws are made of brass, which is helpful when welding or soldering. I often have to solder a thick copper wire that is quite difficult to hold. I can hold it in a tool steel jewelry vise that has a "V" groove, but it takes so long to remove the solder due to the vise's weight and its heat resistance. It's a lot easier to just hold it in one of those little clamps because the jaws heat up really quickly.
