As predictable with any displaced polarizer, the sky is rendered unevenly. There is also vignetting and unpleasant reflections. If you look at the filter you can see that Freewel didn't cover the inside of the red ring on the filter. While it might look dainty from the outside, there are menacing red highlights in the corners of the frame. If the sun enters the frame, you get red reflections in several places. Vignetting and corner flares aren't noticeable in the video because it crops the top and bottom of the image, but polarization side effects remain. I will be returning these filters and replacing them with non-variable ND and ND/PL. Some people will still find these filters useful.
