These sheets are quite soft and pleasant to the touch. Sheets practically do not crumple compared to standard sheets! My only minor gripe is that the sheets were purchased in white and are a bit see through so you can see the faint color of my memory foam topper through the sheets. However, if I put a styrofoam pad under the mattress topper, the problem is solved! Probably because they're microfiber, they're inherently warmer than other sheets I've bought in the past. Update: After using these sheets for about 1 year (almost a week) I am now noticing polyester balls forming on the sheets. , especially fitted sheets, which make them less smooth
