I had two of these and both broke after about 5-10,000 km. That's probably fine for the average cyclist, but if you do a lot of cycling you'd be better off with something more powerful. To be fair to a planetary bike there is a tradeoff between reliability and how securely the bottle is held. This cage is designed to be split down the middle, which allows you to comfortably hold bottles of different sizes. The fact is that the holder is more likely to break. If you want a "split down the middle" holder, it's probably better to make it out of a more forgiving material like plastic or steel.
