The light itself looks great once assembled. Bright, colorful options dimmed with a standard LED-compatible dimmer like the Lutron TGCL-153PH-LA won't hum. . This is mostly a problem when the knockout hole is on the left side of the light and you are using a light that is 24" or smaller as that is where the electronics box is located. Here are some tips from many questions and trying to install two 24" and one 36" light with the existing hardwiring. * Do not attempt to route cables through the top of the electronics box inside the flashlight. They will be pinched and won't let the light snap in. so that they lay flat.* If possible, stagger the cable connectors so that they are not next to each other.* Use electrical tape to secure the various cables and connectors in the desired positions. That makes it easy.* Snapping the LED portion of the light back into the frame is quite tricky, as you're applying a lot of pressure in the same direction that the frame of the light slides from the keyhole mounting screws to the wood between the light fixture and the wall, so it does not slip off the mounting screws.* When drilling Do not drill the hole too close to the bottom edge of the frame. That's where the LED needs to be and it has a slightly raised lip that hits the wire nut and prevents you from putting everything together. You can just cut off the bar where the nut is if that happens.
