Review on EMRSS MG-300 Magnetic Field Meter: Detect and Measure EMF Levels Effectively by Gabriel Day

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Works best for electrical tests as expected

Easy to use. Helps me understand the radiation around my house. Gives me peace of mind and also determines what we need to distance ourselves from. Because the emission is pulsed, this device does not give a single value, but several numbers that give an idea or an average of what is being emitted. We don't have a microwave but I took it to my mums and measured it from afar and it was the highest level of radiation putting out some pretty scary doses. TV and Wi-Fi were actually minimal compared to smartphones which were 5x higher. Our electric boxes and solar energy read dangerously high at certain times, and surprisingly higher than a failed smart meter, although I've read that everything reads differently during the day, especially at night with its ripples and waves. It's pretty interesting. I got it to make sure the transformer next to our house wasn't too high and I couldn't even get a high reading so I feel like it's a safe distance away. I'm still wondering why I didn't get a smart meter reading, but maybe I need to measure at night.

Pros
  • Accuracy: ±(2.5% + 6 digits) at 50Hz/60Hz. Overload: LCD reads "OL".
Cons
  • There are problems
