Bought for my son's sixth birthday and it worked fine. It took a while to get together, but it wasn't really that hard. No special tools are required for this. Two minuses: 1. When pedaling, the rear hub experiences significant friction. It seems to be loosening a bit but I have a feeling there is an issue with the way the brake comes from the firm. It's not terrible though.2. The rear fender stands quite high, making it difficult for little boys to get their leg over the seat. I would suggest bending the wing a bit. In general the bike is good, my son likes it. And so far there hasn't been a single problem.
