High quality product

I am using this inverter/charger as part of a battery backup system for a 3/4hp 10 amp drain pump. Overall, this is great value for money with great features. In my case, I wasn't happy with the performance of the 12V pumps, but I struggled to come to terms with the price of the Pump Sentry. I was happy to have found this product as an alternative. Pros: - Features an advanced charging and monitoring process including CC/CV/Float stages. - Allows you to choose multiple battery types to charge your battery with the right voltage. - Has high resistance to surges. Protective DC connector covers and power cord are included although not shown in the photos. The price is cheap compared to competitors. The energy saving mode is ideal for most applications. When the device does not require constant power, the device saves power by waiting for the load. - Offers a pure sine wave for good handling of your instruments, while some competitors use a modified sine wave. Cons: - The battery selector is uncomfortably small, making it difficult to find a screwdriver or other tool to adjust the selection. - The power cord is only about 4 feet long. - The user manual mainly focuses on the functions and is very limited in terms of installation (regardless of the purpose) - The AIMS online manual and the manual that comes with the package are significantly different in terms of the size of the DC cable. One reads 4 AWG and the other reads 1/0 AWG. Actually, the length of the cable has to be considered, so do your research and assume the rating is around 100 amps to match the 1250 watt rating. Size and weight play a big role. Before starting the project, take the necessary measurements. So if the size of the device suits your needs, I highly recommend this product.
