Bought 5, bought again 2 months later and now 2 packs for the same money

The cables themselves work fine but I feel cheated. I bought these cables in sets of 5 in August for $9.87. They seemed like good cables so I bought another set for someone else by clicking buy again. When I received them it was 2 packs this time so I went to the purchase history and of course the price stayed the same but between August and December the number was reduced from 5 to 2. The cables themselves are fine, but I won't buy again.
