Review on Craftmade SON52CH Sonnet 52-Inch Ceiling Fan: Stylish Chrome Finish with White Frost Glass by Kahyin Hawkins

Looks good. It works. The fan doesn't seem to spin as fast as I expected based on the stats. Looks the same as the slower fan I just bought. Well balanced. Comes with a remote control (requires installation of a switch to operate). Complicated installation. The fan blades have a total of 6 holes (2 each) for screws. Only three of the holes were the right size to screw it in securely. The screws are very short and I'm concerned about the safety of the fan blades, I like that it doesn't spin as fast. We had to widen the other 3 holes to allow the screws to go further in and hook into the motor case. In addition to the usual assembly of the ceiling fan, the supplied switch had to be assembled. The fan will not work with your original switch. You have to set their not-so-pretty switch to turn on the fan, and that's how the remote works too. The switch comes with multiple faceplates to match your existing switches.
