Review on WS2812B 5050 SMD LED Strip Light - 16.4ft with 300Leds, High Brightness, Flexible, Waterproof, White - DC 5V by Albert Bohimia

Bought 5 meters of Wintop 2812b 30 LED/m waterproof tape and they work great. They arrived in less than 2 days in secure, anti-static packaging. It often annoys me that manufacturers accidentally splice smaller strips before inserting them into the silicone tubing, resulting in an uneven gap that can really mess up the matrix design. But they are perfectly evenly spaced! The strips are very easy to read and clearly marked so you can be sure that 5V, DI/DO and GND are connected correctly. Each end is connected to a 3 pin JST connector (data in jack and data out jack) and 2 additional red and black wires on both ends connected to +5V and GND to dissipate the extra power needed to run the whole thing becomes ribbons. at full brightness. I used an Arduino Nano to power the strip along with a 5V 10A AC/DC power supply connected to either end of the strip and the colors are clear with no flickering or dimming at full brightness. You can also power it with USB 5V cell phone backup power (much less than full brightness) to make it portable. I haven't tested the impregnation closely, but the silicone sleeve comes on well and is attached at the ends with no excess silicone glue, making things easier if I later decide to cut the strip into shorter pieces. When trying out the strip I settled on a small spiral Matrix hat, where I simply wrapped the strip around a hastily made fine mesh frame and then added some diffuse fabric (see video). Very easy! I definitely recommend these strips for all your shimmery, bright, fun and colorful projects.
