The seller does not report the dangers of handling ironwood. You have to be very careful with it because if it gets into your lungs, it's not going to get anywhere. My teacher said it's similar to asbestos in terms of lung effects (he's had experience with ironwood. You'll need to use specific PPE depending on the equipment you intend to use with that wood, and clean everything *before* ) Removing said PPE.) I did not purchase this particular product but I have worked with ironwood before and you need to do your research, get a good PPE and be careful! A seller who fails to disclose the dangers is irresponsible and I feel I have to leave this review for that reason.
