I bought a pair of these in Jan, 5 months ago. Had just replaced my front stair railings and used deck Resore to refurbish the ancient concrete steps. These lights were the crowning touch. They were super easy to install, even for this old, clumsy lady. I was shokced at the "flame" which is about 4 inches tall. Very visible from the street and yes, it looks just like a flickering gas flame of a hundred years ago. I assumed that here in FL in winter they were be lit for 6 hrs or so after dark. Imagine my shock when I got up at dawn one day to se they were bright as ever. Ive just refurbished the back stairs adn ordering some for there too. You wont regret these incredible lights.
