I bought this because it seemed like an easier way to clean certain things. Now I use a vacuum cart, a steamer, a soap dispenser and a mop when I clean the house. In my opinion this is the best combination. I almost always used the pointed nozzle with this steamer. It releases flaming hot vapor with great precision, melting and blowing away the greasy layer of dust that settles on everything. I just move it back and forth across the surface and it comes out clean. No chemicals, no paper towels, no scrapers. He also gets every crack and crevice. Think of: the back of the toilet, the corners on the walls, the stove, etc. It's much easier to do one thing than the traditional multi-step cleaning process. Sometimes you just end up wiping off a few drops of dirty water, but usually just steam will do. I also restored a dirty fabric chair. My advice: only use a point tip as it is the most durable and you can move it yourself. Wider nozzles just make the vapor less concentrated.
