
For some reason these tapes are every two minutes shorter than what I usually get when I order a Sony DVM. Typically the tapes read 60 minutes from the time code in the camera, but there is actually a little extra time left giving you around 61 or 62 minutes. This isn't usually a problem, but I'm recording for an hour and can't guarantee it'll last an hour when the timecode says 58 minutes, so I'm a bit stuck. I don't know if the manufacturer is trying to save money by cutting off two minutes of tape, but for my purposes it created a problem.
