Both studs failed during installation. The locknut is stronger than the pin (or knurled? I didn't go too deep into the original attachment method after tossing it across the garage) so it unwinds once the locknut is tight. With no head at the bottom, removing the loose bracket is now almost impossible unless you have a wizzer wheel and destroy it entirely. What a waste of time and money for such a simple detail. It would be better to give a loosened nut and bolt so there is at least a chance to tighten them, but they will really leave you alone with this one.
