Pressure mount bolts broken and nuts deformed. I couldn't fully hand tighten the screws before the screws came loose. I couldn't unscrew the nut to use my old ones so I just left them as is until someone welded them on to unscrew them.

Product is easy to install. However, both bolts on one bracket failed. The item was about 2 weeks old. The car drove along the same residential street as always. The wheel hit a small bump in the road that had been there for some time, both lugs broke causing the rear shock to fall out of its set position. Could easily replace pressed broken bolts. Screw quality is questionable. I have to look around for another mount first.

This part is a common failure on BMWs so it is advisable to have at least one spare. Thankfully, installation is an easy do-it-yourself job. This particular mounting kit is a little better than most as it comes complete with a gasket (to prevent metal to metal contact), two new locknuts and two concave washers which are essential for installation or else the bracket will fail breaks after a break and fails a few kilometers. I am happy with the purchase.

Both studs failed during installation. The locknut is stronger than the pin (or knurled? I didn't go too deep into the original attachment method after tossing it across the garage) so it unwinds once the locknut is tight. With no head at the bottom, removing the loose bracket is now almost impossible unless you have a wizzer wheel and destroy it entirely. What a waste of time and money for such a simple detail.
