Review on Eucalyptus Interlocking Deck Tile for Outdoor Patio – 6-Slat Design by Alex Smith

Must be sealed when it rains

I've had them for over a year now. They are placed on a concrete pavement approximately 4 feet wide and 12 feet long. It's outside and we had a lot of rain last summer, mostly raining 5 days a week. They really swell and warp unless treated with a sealer. They looked like shit all summer and winter, in the spring I took them out and put them in the barn where I left them for two weeks to dry thoroughly. I then pressure washed them very well and applied sealant to each tile, front, back and in the crevices. It looks beautiful all summer long and the sealer has held up really well but the wood is starting to gray and dull. This month I will be painting the wood and reapplying the sealer. It seems like you have to stain and seal the wood every year. These tiles are better suited for patios away from the elements.
