Good sock, good fit, very comfortable!

Shoes fit very well! I ordered a half size up to make sure I had enough room for my insoles and I don't think I actually needed a half size up. I'll still go a half size bigger though because I like the full volume of the sock the way it is. It stretches well, so if you have arthritis, rejoice! Most shoes hurt me terribly. My legs can be fully stretched when walking, which gives me pleasure. My only concern is that they are difficult to put on. They can only be tightened so far, so order the right size, even with shoe inserts. I was hoping to get a great pair of running shoes for the woods and the video they showed looked fantastic walking over branches and roots with ankle pain or twisting, which often happens with very stiff soled shoes. But since they're half a size too big, I can't get them on properly, so I'm not sure I'll sprain my ankle yet. (I'll be back to update my review once I've taken it to the woods.) Other than that, it's fantastic. They'll obviously breathe well, they're damn soft to walk on, they fit nicely on the back of the ankle, just above the heel. I'm still smitten with them, but let's see how they behave in the world. (I'm concerned about paint run-off and how quickly the cushioning flattens out, as often happens with shoes with cushioning. Review will be updated later.)
