Some of the grout between my tiles has discolored over the years and this has done a really good job of removing some of that build up without scratching the tiles around it. That being said, I don't think the bristles were properly glued on a brush as they were flying all over the place. Also, I couldn't use this in my stronger drill bit, but it worked with my homemade one - I just couldn't press as hard as I wanted to get a deep clean. For surface stains, however, it makes a world of difference! By the way, there were neither instructions nor a hint as to which brushes are suitable for which surfaces. If you already know what to do, that's fine, but make sure you're not using anything too abrasive on a soft surface. Common sense is of great importance.
