I replaced the old recessed lighting in my TV room ceiling with these new LED lights. Not only are they more cost effective in regards to their power consumption, they look more updated as well. I like the fact that they can be in contact with insulation, whereas my old lights could not, which allowed super hot attic air to come into the room in the summer when the a/c unit ran. This new setup should help alleviate that issue.The overall design of this light unit and electrical box is well done; with push-in electrical connections and a preinstalled power cord to the light unit - just connect the two ends and tighten the nut. Overall, very impressed. I choose the "Neutral" 3500k units and they provide a clear crisp white light as opposed to my old yellowish can lights. They can be too bright so they are on a dimmer which allows me the ultimate control of my lighting scheme. I recommend these lights.
