Review on AOC C32G2ZE Frameless 31.5" Curved Gaming Monitor with Blue Light Filter, Anti-Glare Coating – G Series Reborn by Eric King

I've been using it as a PS5 monitor for a year now waiting for the HDMI 2.1 monitors to drop in price and it's been a great experience. Thanks to this monitor, I was able to get my first 20 kill game of Apex Legends and my overall gaming experience has greatly improved. It's extremely responsive and fast, it has ZERO black blur like the old VA panels, there's a little ghosting at 60Hz but you REALLY have to look for it to see it, you'll never see it organically while gaming and that you will also never see it at higher refresh rates. Overall, it delivers TV picture quality with the performance of a gaming monitor. The only downside to this monitor is that you can't sit right in front of it like you can with 24-27 inch monitors. You really need to leave some space between you and the monitor or else the image will look blurry and you will have trouble seeing the entire screen. I recommend setting Red, Green and Blue to 50 in the color settings if you are only using this monitor for gaming, the colors are visually perfect and displayed at their default values, not oversaturated. Leave the contrast at 50, adjust the backlight to your liking and try the Gamma 3 setting. Gamma 1 is perfect or near perfect for 2.2, but the Gamma 3 setting looks very deep and saturated, only slightly darker . and keep the overdrive at a medium level, in my opinion this is the best all round setting for all refresh rates. I cannot recommend this monitor enough and to see the price going lower and lower each month just means increasing value.
