After some scale removal, they weld very well. The internal diameter is 2 9/16 so most parts of the exhaust system still sit on top of the flange instead of sliding in. The exception is the "Standard" pipe, which may or may not go in. The screws that come with the kit are too short to use the included lock washers if you're careful. Gaskets are also of poor quality, but tight. If you want to remove and replace this part with relative ease, weld a non-galvanized nut to the flanges after you've welded the pipe.
