It really works in kitchenware and gadgets
I have trouble opening jars with very tight lids. I had a jar of roasted red peppers that was particularly cramped. I've tried everything. None of my friends could open the lid; it was a walking joke for months. Eventually, someone suggested his mother swears by the Brix can opener, so I ordered one. When it arrived I tried it on a can; It opened in a second.
