Good item ONLY for SMALL canisters

If you have a heavy canister I don't recommend this set. Even with the holes fully open, the little pin that pops out to allow you to regulate the flow will cause the water in the skimmer to draw too much water down and air into the filter, causing millions of air bubbles in your aquarium caused. Get the ones that DO NOT have a little stick coming out of the top and you'll be better off. Yardleys work better (I have them too). Other than that, the build and looks are very polished and good looking. If you have a small tank with a small canister, you will be fine. DO NOT USE ON A HIGH FLOW CANISTER OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.
