Review on Monoprice Unity 100W Bridgeable Power Amplifier in Black by Jay Sterns

I am using this amp along with a Wi-Fi transmitter to have rear speakers in a room that shouldn't have wires in the back. I connected it to very efficient Klipsch speakers (RB-61ii) at each end of my sofa facing me. Even with low gain of the amplifier, a hiss can be heard from the speaker horns. It has nothing to do with my source or the cables as even with the cables unplugged it still hisses. The higher the gain of the amp, the louder the hiss, and it gets pretty loud. This is very annoying. To get at least an acceptable level, I need to set the amplifier's gain to no more than 15-20% and turn the rear speaker level output all the way up in my Yamaha RX-A3080 receiver. to 10+ and the front levels to -10 just to keep the rear speaker volume loud enough to match the level without the extra loud hiss. However, even at this moment. I STILL hear a little hissing, it's unbearable, but to be honest it still bothers me. If you have efficient speakers, especially Klipsch, I would avoid this amp and go for something better. Also, I don't think they could make the speaker wire connections thinner. When you screw in the speaker wire, the whole thing seems to come loose easily.
