I bought this amp to power my Denon X4300H Dolby Atmos rear ceiling speakers but returned it for two reasons. 1) I couldn't use a 12V trigger without the 60Hz hum due to the ground loop. This amp is grounded unlike most AVRs. Also, it doesn't use an opto-isolator on the 12V trigger 2) Even with the 12V trigger disconnected, I still hear an audible hiss from the speakers when it's on. I am using this amp along with a Wi-Fi transmitter to have rear speakers in a room that shouldn't have wires in the back. I connected it to very efficient Klipsch speakers (RB-61ii) at each end of my sofa facing me. Even with low gain of the amplifier, a hiss can be heard from the speaker horns. It has nothing to do with my source or the cables as even with the cables unplugged it still hisses. The higher the gain of the amp, the louder the hiss, and it gets pretty loud.
