A good set of tools in Body Repair Tools

Very strong tools in a very nice case. I love this case because I have a bad habit of moving things around all over the place while I'm at work. With a case, they can be easily stowed away between uses. However, I will say that the first time I tried to use it, it didn't work to get the tab I needed. I don't think it's the tool, it's because I need to learn how to use it. Even in all my attempts, the thin edges of the instruments have not bent or warped like cheap plastic instruments.

Excellent quality in tools and equipment

I needed to replace the power windows on my 2000 Mercedes E320 station wagon. I used them to disassemble the door panel. They work very well. The ends are thin enough to be trimmed. They are strong enough to fit well without breaking. I've seen people comment on plastic tools breaking. They are very strong to hold together and flex just enough to bend without breaking. However, you must remember what they are for. They are for decoration. These are not crowbars! I highly recommend these tools.

Works as intended Good for tools and equipment

I've looked at a number of these and tried to figure out which one is better, but I'm convinced they're all very similar. They do what they were designed to do, which is to help with sheet metal removal, but not all cars are created equal and chances are you'll find at least one, if not more, tool in a set that works for a particular sheet metal, though is possibly better. . . . Nothing fancy just molded plastic and like I said they do what they're designed to do and I think there's probably…

Only time will tell: Body Repair Tools

These scratch resistant plastic body mount removal tools are well made and come with a nice storage pouch. Unfortunately I couldn't use them for my main purpose which is to remove the special fender mounts on my Toyota Tundra. None of the tools are suitable for this specific task. From what I can read about Toyota on online forums they present a unique problem. I've been able to use them on other types of mounts, in other places on the truck and also on my other two non-Toyota vehicles, so am i

Great accessory set! in Tools and Equipment

So many possibilities. I needed to replace my stereo in my 2005 long cab Chevrolet Colorado and the trim surrounding the stereo is a little tricky but not with this set. I have had other soft interior car chisel sets and none of them were as comfortable to use and had a lot of narrow chisels as this set. Removing the door panels wasn't difficult either. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a safe and gentle way to disassemble a car interior. Remember each tool has its

Must have kit for car lovers

After doing some research I decided this kit would help me with some interior changes to a new car. In the past I've always used a screwdriver, butter knife, etc. to remove trim. Not a very good idea. I received the ABN Premium Trim Remover Kit a few days ago and used it today. The kit comes exactly as in the picture. The tools are strong enough, as is the bag. Today I used two tools to remove the interior trim pieces which made the removal easier, especially without having to worry about…

Cheap insurance against damage to your car

I have stripped quite a lot of upholstery for various upgrades and repairs to my cars in the past but I never had the right tools, instead I relied on screwdrivers and metal lever latches. . The end result is broken clips, scratched panels and the like. Getting started on a new project and seeing a tutorial video of an installer using a plastic pole, I found this kit and decided it was worth a try at $15. Couldn't be happier. The instruments look good and are thick enough with a slight flex…

Large Tool Chest - Upholstery and Finishing Tools

As a mechanic with years of experience, I've learned that using the right tool for the job can mean the difference between success and failure. In the past, I've resorted to tape-wrapped spatulas or screwdrivers to remove the interior trim; with mixed results. Our 2015 Highlander recently experienced a failure in the door latch mechanism (seems to be a common problem) which required the door panel to be removed for replacement. I decided it was time to bite the bullet and purchase a set of…

This kit will help you hide a mistake

I have purchased 3-4 trim removal kits like this one over the years, usually 6-8 pieces identical to the pieces in this one. They scatter over time, are never on hand when needed, and it's easier to have a set in multiple locations, blah blah. I mean, I really didn't need more of it. I looked them up to send a link to a friend who didn't know they needed them. When I sent it in, I realized that there are a few items in this 11 piece set that I don't have, and heck, I can't let my backyard…
