Review on Siser EasyWeed HTV Sheets Inch by Wendy Rodriguez

A few tips if you're having trouble.

My sheets were ordered from "Vinylxsticker" LLC, arrived clean cut, right size, rolled in a tube. The colors were the same as the product photo except the light pink was changed to dark green, no problem. I unwrapped them and gave them a day to relax and smooth out. They were cut with a GCC Expert24 and pressed with a Hotronix 16x20 tray. I had no problems with cutting or pressing. Some colors were harder to weed than I expected from Siser and I have 8 years of experience with this. As far as I know, Siser does not sell sheets, so they are cut from rolls, so the quality, size and packaging depend on the individual seller. I have 8 years of experience with heat transfer vinyl and use a high quality American made heat press for $1500. Some of the negative reviews mentioned material sticking issues. Some of this can be caused by using cheap Chinese-made heat presses that don't have factory quality control and often heat the oven unevenly. If you're having trouble, try rotating your shirt 90 degrees and pushing back down, this should fix your cold spot problems. Use a thermometer or temperature test strips to check the temperature of the top plate in many places. It is not uncommon, that digital temperature readings are wrong. And if you've already ruined a shirt, keep experimenting with it. Cut off small pieces of heat transfer and try increasing or decreasing the temperature or pressing longer or shorter. Remember that bigger isn't necessarily better. When people are struggling, they often raise the temperature, but that may not be the right thing to do, sometimes you need to lower it.

Pros
  • Light weight and ready to cut material to decorate clothes made to order
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
