Used for 5 months, here is my review

Used for 5 months. I used it in my 33m2 bedroom for 2.5 months and in my 60m2 living room for another 2.5 months. Yes, I know that's about 400 square feet, but here's my review anyway. Sensors - Has fast timers that span 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours and 8 hours - Has 4 fan speeds - High CADR 403 which means it's designed for large spaces and rated at 5 air changes per hour (ACH) at a maximum Running speed of 403 sq. ft. - Easy to carry from room to room - Display on/off - Design/Aesthetics - Price with its features is incredibly competitive compared to products at the same level (e.g. it would be based on its features much more expensive) - Filters pretty well - Keeps smoke and odor at bay - We love fan setting 2 for use while sleeping - Vesync integration (Levoit's app that controls everything with Levoit) - Alexa integration - Apple Home integration - With that in mind he's pretty sure he'll connect to a lot of other smart homes like the google vesync app probably in a totally different c PRO category because it's really awesome - the vesy nc app monitors PM2.5 both indoors and outdoors so you can see historical air quality both inside and outside your home. - The Vesync app allows you to set up smart scenes from within the app, so you can program it to do anything when any condition is met. The Vesync app is frequently updated to be better and to support more, so there are constant improvements beyond what I think is really great. - No misleading ads for this listing; It tells exactly how many square feet it covers based on the industry standard of 5 air changes instead of 1 air change. Cons: - Doesn't filter allergens like some other brands like Coway do. be much better for people suffering from pet allergens. - The bottom sometimes comes off when moving. - The Vesync app does not always update the air purifier immediately. - Vesync programming scenes can be tricky and don't always work properly. - The noise level on the highest level is very loud (but that's how almost ALL air purifiers are set to maximum power). NOR FOR OR AGAINST: - Price of replacement filters (Cost approx $49.99 / 6-12 months) REVIEW: I REALLY wanted to love this air purifier. For the price, it had absolutely everything I wanted, particularly automatic sensors and application integration. To be honest, it worked very well in almost all areas, except that it just didn't work out the way I had imagined for allergy sufferers. My wife suffers from animal dander, pollen and house dust and gets asthma from very bad air. She didn't care about the air purifier. I'm fine and only sometimes suffer from seasonal allergies so I couldn't tell for sure if it was important to me or not. All I could say was that through the filters I could see hair and dust being sucked in. When I cleaned it every month, it collected a lot of junk. So it is good! But on that note, no, air purifiers are not made for fur and will not help with fur. I used to think that air purifiers help keep hair to a minimum, but no, it doesn't help at all. I have a husky I still have to vacuum every day because fur is still everywhere. In any case, the air purifier also turned on automatically when we fried food or fried something in a pan at home. On very rare occasions, wildfire smoke would come out of the following condition and the air purifier would sense that smoke and turn on as well. I was very happy with it. I tried this Levoit air purifier for a total of 5 months. 2.5 months in my 350 square meter bedroom and another 2.5 months in my 60 square meter living room. It worked almost the same in both areas. I didn't notice much of a difference at all. However, I also tried the Coway Airmega AP-1512HH in the same period. I used these two air purifiers alternately in the bedroom and living room for 2.5 months (5 months total). And it was the Coway air purifier that helped me get rid of my allergies. It helped my wife little, but I could see a difference in just 10-15 minutes with the Coway turned to the max. Even though the Airmega was rated at 350 square feet, it still made a difference in my 650 square foot living room. The airflow on this thing is amazing too; I could feel it was a high altitude airflow throughout the room! I have so many good things to say about the Airmega Coway, but the major downside is that it doesn't support Wi-Fi. Levoit's Wi-Fi capabilities and app changed comfort and scheduled cleanings so much that I really wanted to hate the Airmega Coway. However, I cannot deny that Coway has helped with my allergies. One day, after returning home from an incredibly windy day, we both felt increasingly suffocated (with headaches and migraines) as the evening drew to a close down in the living room where the Levoit air purifier stood. The gauge on the Levoit says the air was still excellent so we just thought we were tired of being out too long. We didn't take any medication. We just went upstairs to bed where the Coway air purifier sat. After about 15-20 minutes of using the Coway purifier on high, our constipation was reduced and we could finally breathe effortlessly and our headaches and migraines were gone. Like magic. Sometimes allergy medication doesn't work as quickly. This was probably one of the very few instances where we were actually able to compare two air purifiers because the difference was huge. On all other days, the air above and below was usually very similar, and neither air purifier made much of a difference (to the point where I felt like air purifiers were just myths at times, but obviously they weren't). So after 5 months of use. After trying BOTH products, both of which have a very similar CADR, I came to the conclusion that I would use Levoit in the area with the least traffic as it doesn't really help allergy sufferers. Although as a smoke and odor purifier it's actually pretty good. When I'm cooking and it turns on, my house smells less, although it doesn't completely eliminate the odor. In fact, neither Coway nor Levoit were able to completely eliminate odor (but that didn't bother me at all). The best thing about the Levoit, and I think that's its biggest selling point, is that it supports Wi-Fi at an amazing price. The app is so damn good and useful that you can set it to turn on 4 times a day at 1 hour intervals (or as many times a day as you want!), or it from anywhere in the world control or set it to turn on and clean the air before you get home. It's so convenient! Also, it works very well with Alexa. And the automatic sensors work really well. I ended up buying it because of an allergy. Coway won in the area of adequate cleaning to help and keep allergy sufferers comfortable. I don't know how, but Coway's sensors are much more sensitive than Levoit's; so sensitive that opening the door activates the Covey sensors, while the Levoit sensors tell me the air quality is still great. I wasn't here to review the Coway at all, but I couldn't review the Levoit air purifier without comparing them. Looking at other people's reviews of how the Levoit air purifier helped with their allergies and such, I felt like I either got a faulty device from Levoit or our allergies are actually far worse than normal people with allergies. Given that Levoit has given me no relief from my allergies compared to another brand I have bought and tried at the same time, I admit that I will probably never buy Levoit cleaners again. If I had a friend who just needed something to keep the air clean and help with odors AND really wanted a Wi-Fi enabled device, I would definitely recommend it. The app is a game changer and deserves an award - it's so good and constantly updated; Levoit also has a plethora of Wi-Fi enabled products, all controlled from that one app. In fact, I have a Levoit humidifier AND I also have another small Levoit cat bathroom cleaner that also works really well when it comes to odor control (so Levoit seems to work pretty well for odor control in that regard). Department). Both support Wi-Fi and are simply game changers. I only wish the Levoit cleaner for my living room was better at dealing with allergies, but unfortunately this model couldn't and couldn't. Pretty disappointed.
