Review on 💻 Acer Aspire 3 15.6-Inch Full HD Laptop - Intel Core i5-1035G1, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Windows 10 by David Bowens

This is a good computer, keyboard is good, touchpad is accurate and sensitive, speed is decent especially for the price but the screen is terrible. I understand the focus for this laptop is gaming and the screen may have a speed advantage, but the resolution seems to be half what it advertises, the contrast is very low and the viewing angle is so narrow that there is always some serious vignetting comes a dark background, plus screen brightness cannot be controlled. Maybe I should have expected screen issues, but seriously, that's not what I've come to expect from Acer. OTOH, the seller was very willing to accept returns and I was able to buy an Aspire 5 with a nice screen for an extra hundred dollars. My advice: if screen speed isn't the most important thing, spend the extra money, avoid eyestrain.
