It sucks like a regular Starbucks mug so when I'm really tired and upset I get the same feeling when I'm angry. normal paper cup. I never manage to drink coffee in one sitting, so I microwaved it (gentler and in less time) and it changes shape a bit. We also run them in the dishwasher. I like to use sleeves with it. Someone mentioned it was for hot drinks so I ordered a huge pack of these. Anything that makes me feel like I left home to take care of myself instead of spending all day trying to convince myself not to just watch the TV for him. If you are a serious Starbucks addict and need to wean or want to help the environment I cannot recommend them highly enough.
