I started with a 64 oz Mason can and its accompanying filter (actually I have two 64 oz cans now; my two sons AND I both drink cold drinks. It worked fine for a while, but then this filter clogs with resins and oils and won't let water through; you end up getting a much lower coffee yield for a given amount of water. So I have some other permanent filters did some research and couldn't find one that I really liked (I've since tried one that I didn't like, won't go into detail here).I found and tried Tezpak disposable filters.I use two per 64 ounce can (water:coffee -ratio 6:1), leave it in the fridge for 16 hours and the coffee comes out rich, dark and strong with great taste.
