I bought this for $16 + tax which is a steal during the $4 Black Friday coupon. $20 is the same price I bought their old case with a smaller fan, which was worth it, but this updated version has a free screwdriver and some cool changes. I believe this case is referred to as tamper evident security nuts rather than regular nuts, which I think makes it easier to attach the fan and case. The only problem is probably the screwdriver, because you can remove the head if you don't turn the screwdriver carefully and slowly (make sure it's flush). The fan is also mounted on the board in the middle and not on one layer of the board on the outside, making this installation a bit more difficult than the other, but I think it's worth it. Attached are photos to compare the two models. Another benefit is that it's less wide than the other case and has flatter edges on the sides (so you can use the rubber feet), making it a bit easier to place on the side for my use case. It would be really nice if the PSU was much larger than 5ft for my use (8ft would be ideal) and had more rubber feet so I can mount it on the sides, but that can be remedied with some extra cost. Bottom line: definitely get this if you plan to use it as a desktop replacement or as a powerful server. wise style; The other version is better if you want to show it in an open place or something like that. way warmth; it seems to have increased somewhat (maybe because I was paying much more attention) but it may have gone down 1 and sometimes 2 degrees Celsius. This would be negligible for a Pi just running some services like Pihole.
