Review on 💧 Gates Water Pump - Model 41122 by Scott Reid

So I bought it first and then sent it back because it didn't come with a gasket (which was just a fluke) but I also saw a lot more reviews on ACDelco that convinced me to take it instead of this. I have to say that after receiving the ACDelco I sent it back and received the gates again. Not only did I have my hands down, MUCH less porous molding, but the ACDelco came with a Chinese china paper gasket compared to the rubberized metal gasket that came with my gate the second time around, and the gate is a few bucks cheaper . Both are made in China. Also, the ACDelco looked like it had tack welds to hold the ribs to the impeller. The gate looked like it actually ran down the fins like a short bead. Beyond what I can't see. Looks like this will be the point of failure at ACDelco. Both are identical and Gates, like my OEM, installed on my 2006 Colorado 3.5 with no problems. I hope this helps someone make the best decision possible given all the information you can gather.
