I have found this probe very useful for identifying troublesome electrical problems, but I didn't usually have it on hand when I was out and visiting repair shops while I was working . Before purchasing this self diagnostic tool I was playing around with a short wire multimeter or attempting to create a battery power source for testing circuits and the fuse board. So I bought this set of Autel car chain probes to take with me while the other one stays at home.
